Substack has been incinerating some portion of what would have been my income for some period of time - possibly my entire time on Substack
Substack fully acknowledged that a week ago
The bulk of the problem:
Substack has been fucking up paid subscription attempts by people on iPhones trying to subscribe via ApplePay.
Instead of processing the attempted paid subscription, Substack has been putting those people into free subscriptions…
It now appears this may have been occurring *the entire time I have been on Substack
I am so pleased to see you here! While I will be a “free” subscriber, that doesn’t mean I do not value what you say. I’m just an American who ended up losing everything waiting for the turtle pace of the Disability folks to realize that Rheumatoid Disease was once called Crippling Arthritis because of what it does to the body. We were middle class 50s and we lost everything. Retirement, 401K, savings and my job - you name it - it was gone.
This is when I started learning about government. I became even more involved online as I am unable to March or even walk very far. After a decade of Twitter and other Social Media when 45 was ruining our country, I felt it was becoming too much, it was too hard, I live in pain and who the hell will listen to me or give a damn.
That was the day I happened to see your husband testify. I knew what would happen. I saw what the MAGA crowd started saying. Seeing him speak the truth, no matter what I found another level of Hell No!! I may not do much but I will not stop. I found the courage to Never Stop - my favorite line from all of the ones on Twit Bird - Nevertheless, She Persisted.

And thank you for being YOU. If I did not have Snark or Sarcasm - I would lose my mind!!
Looking forward to your posts! I first watched your husband testifying on tv. I remember exactly because I was reupholstering my dining room chairs while watching. His honor, honesty, and integrity stayed with me. I'm glad to see him on msnbc now. Your kitchen is beautiful, but like others here, it's good to see I'm not the only one with some clutter on the counter. Makes us real!
