After more than two weeks of travel I am relieved to be home again. A big shout of thanks to my aunt and her friend who came all the way from Oklahoma to stay with our motley crew! They might even be more spoiled now if that’s even possible.
My goodness, work travel is exhausting and I wasn’t even the one working. We’ve reached the point in the year where many places are as hot and humid as Florida so I’d much prefer to deal with that while in the comfort of my own home. Have you traveled by air this summer? TSA reported the busiest travel day *EVER* on Sunday and when I have been in airports lately, I have noticed the extra travelers which I’ve observed leads to noticeably less patience. As a former flight attendant, I want to kindly remind everyone to place their smaller personal items underneath the seat in front of you! Please and thank you :)
Here is a photo dump of our June travel which doesn’t cover the complexity of the eight fully booked flights, four car rentals, and one train ride and maybe that’s best.
We also spent a bucket-filling weekend with my youngest brother and his family while in California, dropped off our daughter at camp in the Blue Ridge mountains, enjoyed a lovely evening stroll down Fifth Avenue in NYC, and reconnect with old friends. My apologies, I’m having difficult uploading more images but I’ll try to figure that out. I also realized I need to make an effort to take more photos.
I hope you’re all having a wonderful summer so far with much more to come!
Those flowers are lovely, I would also have taken a picture. Welcome home, thanks for your words. They bring me hope
Looks like a fun Summer. Good to see the two of you getting some couples time between Alex's work. I'm looking forward to more photos.😀😀
